TSM CSGO Roster Update

After almost a full year of competitive play, we are announcing the departure of Kory ‘Semphis’ Friesen and Pujan ‘FNS’ Mehta from our CS:GO team. Both Semphis and FNS have played integral roles in leading the squad, and have been instrumental in helping develop the team. At the start of the year, the team was improving rapidly and was becoming more successful, but has become relatively stagnant since the departure of autimatic. As a result, we decided a roster swap was necessary, and both Semphis and FNS are now parting ways with the organization. We are still on good terms with both players and would like to thank them for their hard work for the past year. We wish them well for their future and wish the best for them. They will be playing at the ESEA Premier finals as their final large tournament as a part of TSM.

"Although we didn't end the year on a good note, I think these new changes will definitely help some of the younger players on the team improve. I want to thank TSM for everything they've done for me individually. I wish my ex-teammates nothing but the best of luck moving forward" - Pujan ‘FNS’ Mehta

As their replacement, we would like to officially welcome Sean ‘sgares’ Gares and Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan. Both players have been long time veterans of the Counter-Strike scene, and will be taking upon the IGL and AWPer roles respectively. Sgares is a well known IGL within the CS:GO scene, having led his old C9 squad to multiple tournament victories in 2015 Summer. We hope that the addition of an experienced IGL will help guide the squad to victory, and further develop the rest of the team strategically as professional CS:GO players. Shahzam has been a dedicated AWPer for much of his career, and will fill another much needed role on the team which previously had been passed around. We are extremely excited to be working with both players, and to have them be a part of the TSM family. Their debut tournament on TSM will be the Dreamhack Las Vegas NA Qualifiers.

“The year of 2016 provided many ups and downs, but I'm excited to end on an up with my new journey in TSM. I truly believe that the composition of roles and talent is perfect, and I can't wait to get back to work!” - Sean ‘sgares’ Gares
"I'm very excited to be joining the guys at TSM coming into 2017. Combined with the team’s high skill, strong leadership, and defined roles, I'm confident in our ability to become a top team.” - Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan"
