LOS ANGELES – July 27, 2021 – TSM, the premier global esports organization, and Lenovo, a Fortune Global 500 technology company, announced the extension and renewal of their partnership, further solidifying the two organizations commitment to innovation and investment in the global gaming industry.
As part of the partnership, Lenovo Legion continues as the exclusive PC partner of TSM’s teams and organization. In addition, Lenovo is also now the exclusive provider of monitors for TSM. As the exclusive PC and monitor partner, Lenovo is outfitting the Lenovo Legion™ Lounge, a revolutionary, state-of-the-art, gaming lounge for players inside TSM’s facility in Los Angeles. In the coming year, both organizations will work together on a variety of to-be-announced initiatives, including custom content creation, fan activations, giveaways, and much more.
An important part of this strategic alliance is both companies’ continued focus and work on diversity and inclusion programs, particularly women in gaming. Already this year, several Lenovo employees have contributed their time and expertise to provide insight and guidance by leading discussions and Q&A panels for TSMU, TSM’s unique Discord-based collegiate community program built for students passionate about esports. These conversations have offered students of all levels and interests insight into careers in esports and technology, with an added focus on inclusion. Lenovo’s participation in these conversations is particularly insightful for those seeking to land their first job in the industry, including conversations designed to provide young women access to female professionals working in the space. In addition, Lenovo and TSM have collaborated to produce a video for International Women's Day highlighting trailblazing women working in gaming today.
“TSM is one of the most recognizable brands in esports and Lenovo is excited to continue our partnership with them,” said Carl Pinto, Vice President and North America Chief Operating Officer for Lenovo. “By partnering with such a prestigious organization that not only excels in competition, but who also champions diversity and inclusion, together we can continue to provide the gaming hardware, entertainment, and content that consumers crave, while supporting the effort to make esports inclusive and welcoming to all.”
“We are thrilled to continue our strong alliance with Lenovo,” said Andy Dinh, Founder and CEO of TSM. “With their top-of-the-line hardware, our players are able to achieve even better results and perform at the very peak of excellence. We have created a best-in-class player development and training program to ensure our players have the most innovative tools at their fingertips. Lenovo is at the core of this program, and we are excited about our future together.”
