TSM's Official 2020 LCS Roster Announcement

We’re pleased to officially announce our finalized rosters for the 2020 LCS season! The primary focus for this off-season was to create a cohesive team of talented individuals that would complement each other's skill set by building upon the foundation from last year.

Without further ado -

LCS Roster:

  • Top Lane: Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik
  • Jungle: Joshua "Dardoch" Hartnett
  • Mid Lane: Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg
  • AD Carry: Kasper "Kobbe" Kobberup
  • Support: Vincent "Biofrost" Wang

For our LCS Roster, we’ve already announced the return of Biofrost and the additions of Dardoch and Kobbe. They will be joining our returning members BrokenBlade and Bjergsen in the upcoming season.

Academy Roster:

  • Top Lane: Niship "Dhokla" Doshi
  • Jungle: Mingyi "Spica" Lu
  • Mid Lane: Jackson "Evolved" Dohan
  • AD Carry: Lawrence "Lost" Sze Yuy Hui
  • Support: Erik "Treatz" Wessén

For our Academy roster, Treatz and Spica will be returning to our team. Both players have demonstrated their talent over the previous season, forming a solid core to build our Academy roster around. Joining them, we have Dhokla, Lost, and Evolved (formerly known as KatEvolved) to round out the roster. All three players attended the TSM Scouting Combine last month and we were impressed by both their skill level at the respective points in their career and also their potential for growth. We believe that this combination will lead to a well balanced team that will not only serve as a solid practice partner for our LCS team, but also push the development of each individual to the fullest.

  • Head Coach: Peter Zhang
  • Head of Performance: David Denis
  • Strategic Coach: Jangsik "Lustboy" Ham
  • Assistant Coach: Haitham Algbory
  • Head Analyst: Sevag Titizian

We approached this off-season with the understanding that Peter Zhang would be working with both LCS and Academy teams to ensure that both teams had a similar philosophy and approach to the fundamentals of the game while the LCS and Academy teams would have their own individual head coaches responsible for their respective teams. However, after speaking with a pool of candidates, it became evident that Peter is better positioned to lead this group of LCS players based on his experience and skill set. In order to complement Peter, Jangsik "Lustboy" Ham will be returning as a key member of the staff as a primary strategic coach for the bot lane as well as helping with aspects of draft and mid/late game elements. Haitham Algbory, who has worked with us over the past two years will be joining us onsite as the primary strategic coach for the top lane in addition to helping with scouting, preparation and data analysis. Finally, we're happy to announce that David Denis will continue to work for us as a psychology trainer through the 2020 season.

It is still our intention that TSM runs an integrated program next year where the LCS and Academy teams have a close relationship and as such we're still finalizing our Academy coach who will work closely with Peter and build upon the foundation he set last year. In addition, Parth Naidu will be closely involved in the day-to-day operations of both teams and helping pilot a joint project with Blitz App with the help of Sevag Titizian who will be continuing his role as the head analyst.

In the immediate future, our LCS team will be attending a bootcamp in Shanghai over the next few weeks. We will release a video before the start of the next season outlining some of the above points in more detail. We’re extremely excited to work with all these highly talented individuals over the next year and hope that our fans will join us in cheering them on in the coming season!
